Oh, wonderful, glorious Pimm’s! This is truly a British drink and one that never disappoints. It is so refreshing and a drink that is readily found at many sporting events including Wimbledon and the Henley Regatta.

Pimm’s originated in London and is widely enjoyed as a summertime drink.  The original formula, and the most popular still today, is Pimm’s Cup No. 1, using gin, quinine and a mixture of herbs to aid in digestion. After the WWII, other spirits were used (Scotch for No. 2, Brandy for No. 3, Rum for No. 4, Rye for No. 5 and Vodka for No. 6) however, Pimm’s No. 1 Cup using Gin is still the most popular and widely used.

Pimm’s is pretty much readily available now in most larger stores and making a pitcher of Pimm’s is so super easy.  Here are a few recipes for you to try.  With all recipes, take a jug or tall glass and fill it with ice.
