When Easter is around the corner I know that Spring is finally arriving. I enjoy decorating during this festive time because colour can take the forefront and any colour palette and combination can work.
One of the main facet’s of Trix & Trumpet and the styling and consulting that I do, is a strong emphasis on using what you have. Looking into your collection of home decor items and table settings and finding new ways to use various components.
For this Easter inspiration I did just that. The table runner, votive candle holders and mirror I have used in other inspiration posts and in these new images, I strived to show that when you have a solid base, and timeless elements, you can change the look and feel simply by adding a colour variation, or arranging your table in a different way. Sometimes you need, and even want to purchase something new for your table and get together, but most times, what we already have works beautifully as well.
Soft grey is a fantastic neutral that works with so many colours. In this table setting it’s paired with purple and wisps of teal, pink and gold. Very fresh.
(Psss…If you want to see more images of this table runner, which is part of our The Sunday Dinner Party Box, check out our shop and be inspired).
For now, have fun designing your own Easter table. What’s your favourite go-to colour combination? We love to hear.
